    Join us for this Kids Hour session as Comic Art Museum artist Thien Pham shares his passion for storytelling. He’ll start with an inspirational story he wrote about following your dreams. Kids will follow along as he shows the step-by-step process for creating a single page comic using iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. Then they’ll get hands-on storyboarding, sketching, and coloring their own comic.

SCHEDULE A CLASS OR PRIVATE LESSON

The Cartoon Art Museum offers customized classes arranged to fit into your schedule, cartooning topic of choice, and skill level. You can schedule a single session or a series of classes using the form below. The Cartoon Art Museum can also work with your school, library, business or child-care facility to bring a cartooning instructor to your location. Cartooning classes can be folded into your curriculum, programming, team building, or after-school programs through creative hands-on activities and their career applications.

  • Your desired date must be requested two or more weeks ahead.
  • A standard class is 2 hours and serves up to 20 students.
  • Additional time or students may be accommodated for additional fees.
  • Classes with 5 or more students under 18 require 1 chaperone for up to every 10 students.

All classes take place at the museum’s educational space at 275 Fifth Street or a partnered location unless otherwise requested. Classes requested off-site must take place at a public space or business location and cannot take place at private residences.
